What are the billing rates for Medic?

Medic’s Fiscal Year Cycle

  • Medic’s Fiscal Year (FY) cycle runs from July 1st through June 30th. As such, Medic is currently operating in FY 2014 which began on July 1st, 2013 and will end on June 30th, 2014.

How can I pay my Medic bill?

Patient Financial Services offers a variety of convenient ways for patients to pay their Medic bill:

  • Online Payments

Please click on the Need to Pay Your Medic Bill icon to the right to make an online payment.

  • Mail-In Payments

Please mail your payment to Patient Financial Services at PO Box 741033 Atlanta, GA 30374.

  • Over-the-Phone Payments

What if I do not have insurance?

  • While Medic does not qualify patients for charity, we do honor discounts granted by Novant Health or Carolinas HealthCare System. Medic will apply the same discount amount, for patients who qualify for charity at either hospital system, to your Medic transport for the qualifying dates of service.

What are your hours of operation?

The Patient Financial Services department is open every Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, excluding the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day
  • Martin Luther King Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • Independence Day
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving and the Day After
  • Christmas Day and the Day After
